Game interface design for children with autism

Duration: One semester
Faculty Sponsor: Dr. Randolph Bias, School of Information at UT
Course: Individual Study
Position: Web designer, Idea Motivator

The purpose of the gaming interface project was to provide engaging user interfaces for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Our group fielded a user survey to generate users' insight. I created a Blog site using WordPress that detailed our working process and built a web site to benefit the target community by providing information on local and national autism-related resources. Using the gathered data, our group developed a prototype of game interface that would assist children with ASD more.
