A redesign challenge of the Blackfriday Ads web site

Design Showcase: Redesign artifacts
Position: User Experience Designer

Scenario: A potential client came to me hoping to improve the effectiveness of one of the web sites they operate, but no time is allowed for further usability testing. This web site has never done any user research or usability testing. How do I depend on my experience to create an enticing design as well to improve the site's usability?
Solution: The redesign project started with my personal heuristic evaluation of the web site. It helped me to identify problems and to lay out my redesign plan. Based on my experience in effective design, I created several wireframes of the new web site and provided brief explanations for each key point of my redesign. I believe it will improve the site’s usability and entice visitors to explore more content on the new site.
